Green Knights Post Fourth Straight Shutout In Win Over Lawrence

DE PERE -- St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in the Midwest Conference with a strong 4-0 win over Lawrence University at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (8-2, 3-0 MWC) didn't waste much time taking control, scoring just 3:37 into the match when Tyler Kassube knocked home a solid strike from 30 yards out.

St. Norbert increased its lead when it scored two goals 36 seconds apart later in the first half. Ben Prange took a pass from Kassube, turned and fired into the goal at 27:24. Joe Spera then scored at 28:00 when he finished a bouncing ball into the net for a 3-0 lead that the Green Knights took into the half.

The Green Knights closed out the scoring with a goal at 62:56 when Griffin Hoerchner finished with a heel kick off a pass from Kevin Marx.

St. Norbert outshot Lawrence 13-6 and held a 10-2 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske made three saves for the Green Knights, while Joe Krivit made four stops for the Vikings.
