St. Norbert Falls Late to St. Scholastica

DE PERE - St. Norbert College yielded two late goals to the College of St. Scholastica in a 2-1 non-conference loss at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
The Green Knights (0-4) took a 1-0 lead in the third period when Kylie Gazzolo scored a power-play goal at the 3:36 mark off assists from Reaghan Chadwick and Jillian Kosteck.
St. Scholastica (3-2) would answer at 14:17 of the period on a power-play goal by Mac Johnson. The Saints would score the game-winning goal with 1:38 left in regulation when Abby Sawyer found the back of the net.
St. Norbert had 1:11 of extra-attacker time in the game's final moments but couldn't net the equalizer.
St. Norbert outshot St. Scholastica 21-19. Leigh Grall made 17 saves for the Green Knights while Lexi Thomeczek made 20 stops for the Saints.
St. Scholastica was 1-for-3 on the power play while St. Norbert was 1-for-2.
