Green Knights Finish Sixth at NCAA Regional; Artz Advances to Nationals

WINNECONNE - St. Norbert College finished sixth out of 38 teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional at Lake Breeze Golf Club.

The Green Knights scored 215 points. Washington (Mo.) University won the regional title with 66 points while UW-La Crosse was second with 81 points. The University of Chicago was third with 124 points, UW-Oshkosh fifth with 125 points and UW-Eau Claire fifth with 169 points. Chicago's Khia Kurtenbach was the individual champion with a time of 21:42 on the 6-kilomter course.

Erin Artz qualified for the NCAA Division III National Meet with a fifth-place finish in 21:58. Taylor Domro, who was all-region and could also receive a berth to the national meet on Sunday, finished 14th with a time of 22:19.

Abby Janto finished in 59th place with a time of 23:15, while Sarah Parbs was 66th in 23:22. Haley Joosten placed 71st with a time of 23:24.

Graceanne Tarsa finished 85th with a time of 23:43, while Brittany Kozlowski finished 96th with a time of 23:54.
