DE PERE - St. Norbert College will be sending two runners to the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship in the same season for the second time.

Erin Artz and Taylor Domro were both at-large individual selections out of the Midwest Regional and will compete at the national meet at 11 a.m. EST at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.

Artz and Domro earned their selections by being in the top seven individuals at the Midwest Regional who were not part of teams which qualified for the national meet.

Artz placed fifth overall with a time of 21 minutes 58 seconds, while Domro was 14th overall and covered the 6-kilomter course in 22:19.

Artz has qualified for the national meet for the second consecutive year after placing 38th overall in the 2015 championship. This year's qualification is Domro's first NCAA championship appearance.

The duo marks the second time the Green Knights have sent a pair of harriers to the national meet in the same year. Jenny Scherer and Amanda Whipple both qualified for the national meet in 2010.

Artz is the third St. Norbert female cross country to qualify multiple times for the NCAA Meet, joining Jenny Scherer and Julie Deyo. Domro is the sixth female to qualify for the NCAA Meet overall, a list also including Whipple and Mackenzie Weber.
