Green Knights Place Third at Wartburg Invitational

WAVERLY, Iowa - St. Norbert College fashioned a solid 36 holes at the Wartburg College Spring Invitational to finish in third place.

The Green Knights registered totals of 313-310--623. Kirkwood Community College won the team title with a 289-309--598, while UW-Stout was second at 308-302--610. Kirkwood's Max Thrune was the medalist with a 72-75--147.

Tony Arnold was St. Norbert's top individual finisher with a score of 74-78--152 to finish in a four-way tie for eighth place. Joe Scherer tied for 15th place with a 78-76--154.

Luke Bourneuf finished with a 74-81--155 to tie for 17th place. Jonathan Cone carded an 87-77--164 to finish in a tie for 39th place, while Adam Rohde tied for 46th place with an 88-79--167.

A total of 74 golfers competed.
