Green Knights Battle UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College faced in-state Division III power UW-Eau Claire and Division I UW-Green Bay in a pair of non-conference matches at Western Racquet and Fitness Club. The Green Knights lost to the Blugolds 8-1 and the Phoenix 6-1.

St. Norbert (16-11) got its lone win against Eau Claire when Katherine Ake beat Sarah Henderson 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

Ashley Randazzo and Anna Gosz had a nailbiter against Eau Claire's Olivia Gallagher and Molly Stewart at No. 2 doubles before falling 9-8 (7-3).

Against Green Bay, St. Norbert won a doubles match when Elizabeth Manlick and Meg Witt topped Theresa Tebon and Samm Pedersen 6-3 at No. 1.

The Green Knights got their lone point when Stephanie Doerfert beat Noel Peck 6-1, 7-5 at No. 6. singles. Manlick lost a three-set match at No. 1 to Chiara Berg by a score of 6-1, 2-6, 10-4.
