Green Knights Fifth at Lake Forest Invite

ROCKFORD, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished fifth out of 12 teams at the Lake Forest College Spring Invitational at Aldeen Golf Club.

The Green Knights finished with a 321 to finish 17 strokes behind champion Elmhurst College's 304. The St. Norbert "B" team finished ninth with a 345. Carthage College's Matt Lynch topped 70 golfers with a 74 to earn medalist honors.

Luke Bourneuf led St. Norbert with a 77 to finish in a tie for seventh place. Ben Bobinski and Joe Scherer were tied for 15th place with a 79. Luke Karakas had an 86 to place 44th and Tony Arnold a 91 to finish 57th to round out the "A" squad.

Ian Tisonik finished in a tie for 34th place to lead the "B" squad with an 84. Adam Rohde was tied for 40th place with an 85, while Eric Bagg and Davey Holzer were tied for 47th place with an 88. Marcus Ruch was tied for 58th place with a 92.
