St. Norbert Drops Pair Of Five-Set Matches

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - St. Norbert College suffered a pair of tough losses in five sets on the second day of the Coe College Mabel Lee Invitational. The Green Knights lost to Westminster (Mo.) College 23-25, 12-25, 26-24, 25-22, 15-9 and then dropped a 25-23, 33-31, 16-25, 19-25, 15-9 decision to UW-Platteville.

St. Norbert hit .234 against Platteville, with 54 kills and 17 errors in 158 attempts. Lexie Van Hiel and Halie Ferry had 14 kills apiece, while Brooke Siebert added 11 kills. Emily Rohloff had 25 assists, while Anna Berghoefer had 19 assists.

Rohloff and Jaisah Lee had 15 digs apiece. Van Hiel totaled three blocks.

Statistics for the Westminster match were not available as of mid-Saturday evening.
