St. Norbert Runs Past Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. - St. Norbert College used four second-half goals to pull away from Monmouth College in a 5-0 Midwest Conference win at Peacock Park.

The Green Knights (5-3-1, 2-0 MWC) held a 1-0 halftime lead after Drew Checolinski scored off a Dominic DeMaria assist at 31:32. It was Checolinski's second goal of the season.

St. Norbert posted four unassisted goals in the final 45 minutes. Seth Boldt scored at 64:28 and 72:05 to improve his season goal total to five. Anthony Pineda scored his second marker of the year at 66:35, while Griffin Hoerchner closed out the scoring at 88:28.

Josh Koleske made two saves for his second shutout of the season.

St. Norbert outshot Monmouth 19-5 and held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
