Green Knights Blank Red Hawks

RIPON - St. Norbert College won another key road Midwest Conference match with a 3-0 triumph over Ripon College at Prairie Field.

The Green Knights (7-4, 3-0 MWC) blanked the Red Hawks (7-3, 1-2) behind the fifth shutout of the season for goalkeeper Ally Magiera, who made seven saves.

St. Norbert carried a 1-0 lead into halftime after Sadie Jung scored her first goal of the season when she found twine at the 16:23 mark.

Jung scored the Green Knights' second goal when her unassisted marker went in from the top of the box at 52:31. The Green Knights salted the match away when Ellie Lochner registered her fourth goal of the season with a score at 83:19.

St. Norbert outshot Ripon 24-10 and held an 8-1 edge in corner kicks.
