Freestyle Relay Team Leads St. Norbert at UW-Green Bay Meet

GREEN BAY - The St. Norbert College women's 200-yard freestyle relay placed second to lead the Green Knights effort in a four-team event at Phoenix Sports Center.

St. Norbert competed in a four-team unscored meet with UW-Green Bay, Butler and Northern Michigan.

Stef Klepfer, Meghan Wood, Stacy Hlavach and Bre Heil swam in a time of 1:50.35 to finish nearly seven seconds behind UW-Green Bay's winning time of 1:43.42.

Placing third were Wood in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:41.01), Heil in the 100-yard freestyle (59.73) and Klepfer in the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.18).

Heil tallied a fourth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.19, Wood was also fourth in the 100 backstroke at 1:11.46 and Natalie Walsh was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:23.53.
