St. Norbert Splits Pair of Matches

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College split a pair of non-conference matches with an 8-1 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College and an 8-1 loss to St. Mary's University at Western Racquet & Fitness Club.

Against Wisconsin Lutheran, Sofie Koppmann and Katlyn Gahan topped Tabitha Schultz and Katarina Volkmann 8-2 at No. 2 doubles. Claire Hetzel and Maddie Uhlenbrauck followed with an 8-1 win over Hannah Gerbing and Taylor Bergmann at No. 3.

Meg Witt topped Paige Potaracke 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, followed by a 6-0, 6-0 win for Gahan over Schultz at No. 2. Lauren Paulson beat Emily Boyd 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3, while Uhlenbrauck defeated Volkmann 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4. Hetzel defeated Gerbing 7-5, 6-3 at No. 5, while Koppmann defeated Reebee Ratkowski 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6.

Against St. Mary's, Koppmann defeated Sheyenne Bauer 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles for the Green Knights' only win.
