Green Knights Open Spring at Aldeen Invite

ROCKFORD, Ill. - St. Norbert College finally found a dry course and opened its spring season at the Aldeen Invitational.

The Green Knights "Green" squad finished fourth out of seven full teams with a 343. St. Norbert "Gold" was fifth at 345, while St. Norbert "White" was tied for sixth at 346. Illinois College and Knox College tied for first with a 327.

David Jensen led all St. Norbert golfers posting a 77 for the Gold to finish in second place, two shots out of first place.. Jonathan Cone took seventh with an 81 for the White.

Luke Bourneuf topped the Green quintet with an 84, while teammate Evan Van Enkevort was tied for 13th with 85. Jack Markham (Green) and Beaux Myers (White) also finished in the Top 20 with a 17th-place tie by carding an 86.

A total of 42 golfers competed.
