Green Knights Win Tom Barry Invite For Eighth Time In Nine Years

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College claimed the team title of the 44th Annual Tom Barry Invitational for the eighth time in nine seasons with a strong performance at Colburn Park.

The Green Knights finished with 28 points, finishing with three of the top four and four of the top eight runners. Carroll University was second with 34 points, while the St. Norbert Alumni finished third with 85 points. A total of 13 teams and 121 runners ran the 5-kilometer course.

Graceanne Tarsa won the championship with a time of 19 minutes 25 seconds. Gretchen Price was third with a time of 19:29, while Joyana Tarsa was fourth in 20:10. Abby Janto was eighth in 20:20 and Lauren Talabac was 12th in 20:49 to round out St. Norbert's scoring.

Erin Sorg was 17th in 21:04 and Alex Bruley was 19th in 21:10.

Erin Artz paced the St. Norbert Alumni with a ninth-place finish in 20:31, while Trisha Feldhausen was 13th in 20:54.
