Late Flurry Lifts St. Norbert Past Concordia

DE PERE - St. Norbert College scored four goals 12 minutes apart midway through the second half en route to a 4-0 win over Concordia University Wisconsin in a non-conference game at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights and Falcons were scoreless heading into the 67th minute until Ben Prange put St. Norbert on the scoreboard with his third goal of the season. Prange's hard charge got around the corner of the Concordia defense, and his shot pinballed into the net at 66:26.

Just over two minutes later, Logan Block's blast from the top of the penalty area found the net at 68:42 off an assist from Griffin Hoerchner. Block scored against at 76:54 when he finished a free kick served by Anthony Pineda. Dominic DeMaria's score from directly out front closed out the scoring at 77:47.

St. Norbert (3-0) held a 17-6 shots advantage, including 11-1 in the decisive second half. The Green Knights also held an 11-2 edge in corner kicks.

Josh Koleske made two saves in just over 79 minutes for St. Norbert, while Max Handrich finished up in net. A pair of Concordia goalkeepers turned away seven shots.
