Records Tumble as Green Knights Blitz Lakeland

DE PERE - St. Norbert College struck early and often and set a pair of school scoring records in its 14-0 win over Lakeland University in a non-conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (6-0), ranked No. 23 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll, set new St. Norbert records for goals (14) and points (37) in a game. St. Norbert led 11-0 at halftime, already eclipsing the previous game high of 10 - reached several times previously.

Drake Vandermause jump-started the St. Norbert offense by scoring a natural hat trick in the first 11 minutes of the game. Ben Prange scored three of St. Norbert's next four goals to give him eight on the season. Max Censky, Anthony Pineda, Drew Checolinski, Tiernan Guinn and Dominic DeMaria also had markers before intermission.

Joe Minneci, Deshaun Dickson and Mitchell Scholz scored St. Norbert's three second-half goals.

Logan Blocik finished with three assists, while Scholz added two helpers for four-point game.

Matt Pilewski made two saves in the first half to earn the win in goal for St. Norbert, while Ben Holtzen and Max Handrich saw action in the second half. St. Norbert outshot the Muskies (3-3) by a 38-3 margin.
