Green Knights Finish In Middle at Midwest Region Classic

GALENA, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in the middle of a 32-team field as the Green Knights opened their season at the Midwest Regional Classic at Eagle Ridge Resort.

The Green Knights finished 17th out of 32 teams with a 329-316--645 in the 36-hole event. Carthage College won the team title with a 300-300--600. Carthage's Jordan Knutson topped a 176-player field with a 70-71--141 to finish 3-under par.

Luke Bourneuf led St. Norbert by finishing in a tie for 26th place, posting an 81-75--156. Jack Markham finished tied for 44th place with a 76-83--159, while Ian Tisonik joined Markham in the 44th-plae tie with an 81-78--159.

Evan Van Enkevort finished in a tie for 124th place with a 91-80--171, while Jack Lund was tied for 157th place with a 91-90--181.
