WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College battled the heat, humidity and Carroll University to a 1-1 double-overtime draw in a non-conference match against its erstwhile Midwest Conference-rival at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (6-0-1) found themselves trailing for the first time this season when the Pioneers' Shea Connell banged in an unassisted goal just 3:02 into the game. That goal would hold up through halftime for a 1-0 Pioneers' lead.

St. Norbert got the equalizer quickly in the second half when Ben Prange scored for the ninth time this season with a marker off an assist from Griffin Hoerchner at 46:16.

St. Norbert outshot Carroll 6-0 in the two 10-minute overtime sessions, but couldn't register a golden goal.

The Green Knights outshot Carroll 14-6 and held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske played all 110 minutes in goal for the Green Knights, while Peter Villafeurte turned away five shots for the Pioneers.
