St. Norbert Places Fifth at MWC Championship

ROCKFORD, Ill. - St. Norbert College ended the abbreviated Midwest Conference Championship with a fifth-place showing at Aldeen Golf Club.

The event was shortened to 36 holes after poor weather caused deteriorating course conditions prior to the third round. The Green Knights finished with a 379-347--726, finishing one strike behind Illinois College for fourth place. Grinnell College won the team title with a 330-312--642. Vidushi Sinha was the conference medalist with a 74-77--151.

Amy Holzer tied for ninth place to earn an All-Conference finish, traversing the 36 holes with a 92-81--173. Elizabeth Bobinski finished in 13th place with a 94-86--180.

Kayley Sjoholm and Megan Lau tied for 21st place. Sjoholm scored a 98-92--190, while Lau scored a 102-88--190. Taylor Obry finished in 28th place at 95-101--196, while Lucca Kenyon finished in 31st place at 106-108--214.
