St. Norbert Blanks Grinnell

DE PERE - St. Norbert College fashioned its third consecutive shutout and its ninth on the season with a 2-0 win over Grinnell College in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (13-0-1, 6-0 MWC) are ranked No. 12 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll.

Logan Block put St. Norbert ahead with a strong finish off a Max Censky pass, putting a drive from about 20 yards out inside the far post at the 31:58 mark. It was Block's seventh goal of the season.

The goal held up until the 64th minute. Dominic DeMaria's corner kick was served into the front of the goal, with Jonnie Winkler poking home a loose ball for his first goal of the season.

St. Norbert outshot Grinnell 14-3, including 5-1 in the second half. The Green Knights had three corner kicks to the Pioneers' one.

Josh Koleske made one save for St. Norbert to register the shutout. Jared Cloutier made three stops for Grinnell.
