DE PERE - St. Norbert College put the finishing touches on an unbeaten regular season as the Green Knights topped Beloit College 7-1 in a Midwest Conference match.

The Green Knights, 16-0-1 overall and 9-0 in the MWC, are ranked No. 12 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll. It marks the second time St. Norbert finished the regular season unbeaten, with the 2004 squad going 14-0-2 prior to the post-season en route to a Sweet 16 finish in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

St. Norbert took control early, with Ben Prange scoring goals at 12:23 and 21:13, both off assists from Drake Vandermause. Prange pushed his season goal total to 20, tying the school record for markers in a season set in 1993 by Will Carstens.

Beloit would get a goal back at 24:38, when Casey Wagner converted a penalty kick. The Green Knights would carry a 2-1 lead into halftime.

Dominic DeMaria gave St. Norbert some breathing room, scoring his fifth goal of the season at 49:34 off a Griffin Hoerchner assist. The Green Knights broke the game open late, with four goals in the last 15 minutes. Anthony Masello (74:49) and Ryan Feuerstein (84:21) scored unassisted markers. Joe Minneci scored at 86:00 off helpers from Brandon DiOrio and Ryan Feuerstein. Joe Corno scored his first collegiate goal at 88:00 with an unassisted score.

St. Norbert outshot Beloit 19-2 and had a 2-0 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske worked the first 78 minutes in goal for St. Norbert, while Max Handrich finished up the last 12 minutes.
