Stolberg Leads St. Norbert at Macalester

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Norbert College got a pair of event wins from Ben Stolberg against Macalester College, but the Green Knights dropped a dual to the Scots by a 124-101 score.

Stolberg won the 50- and 100-yard freestyle. Stolberg turned in a time of 23.17 seconds in the 50 and finished in 51.15 seconds in the 100.

The 200-yard medley relay of Marty Blake, Jeffrey Green, Alex Cervantez and Jed Galutira won with a time of 1:46.54. The 400-yard freestyle relay quartet of Peter Martin, Blake, Green and Stolberg won in a time of 3:25.93.

Cervantez had a pair of individual second-place finishes, registering a time of 2:16.52 in the 200-yard individual medley and 59.10 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly. Martin also had a pair of runner-ups, finishing the 200-yard freestyle in 1:52.88 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:16.07.

Green was second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:08.56, while Jaxsen Schermacher was second in 1-meter diving with 123.10 points. Peadar McGrath was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:50.22.
