DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior goalkeeper Josh Koleske has been named to the Google Cloud NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Academic All-District VI squad, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Koleske, an Appleton native, holds a perfect 4.00 grade point average while majoring in biology. Koleske went 9-1-1 in 12 matches this season as the No. 1 goaltender for the Green Knights, sporting a 0.66 goals against average with three shutouts. A second-team All-Midwest Conference selection in 2016 and 2017, Koleske holds the St. Norbert school record for shutouts with 14 and has a career record of 34-8-3. The vice president of the St. Norbert Pre-Health Club, Koleske is also a peer buddy in Best Buddies. He has also worked as a certified nursing assistant and will be going on an international medical mission to the Dominican Republic in January.

To be eligible for national or district selection, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.0, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director. The Academic All-America team, scheduled to be announced Dec. 4, is selected after All-District teams are picked from eight geographic regions nationally. All first-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
