Relay Leads St. Norbert at Lawrence Invitational

APPLETON - St. Norbert College got a win from the 200-yard freestyle relay as the Green Knights finished fifth out of seven teams at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational.

St. Norbert totaled 257 points. Host Lawrence won the team title with 591 points, while Carroll University was second with 553 points.

The Green Knights' quartet of Clare Santas, Emily Frey, Kirsten Williams and Miranda Wilson won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:45.76.

Santas finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:05.77 and placed fifth in the 100-yard freestyle in 58.51 seconds.

Williams finished fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:17.24. Wilson was sixth in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.71 seconds, while Frey was eighth in the event at 26.80 seconds. Frey added an eighth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in 59.28 seconds.

Sarah Dix finished seventh in the 200-yard butterfly in 3:52.76, while Nya Karner was eighth in 1-meter diving with a point total of 198.00.
