Four Green Knights Earn All-North Region Honors

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had four men's soccer players earn All-North Region honors on the NCAA Division III all-region selections made by United Soccer Coaches.

Junior forward Ben Prange and sophomore midfielder Logan Block were named first-team All-North Region honorees, while senior defender Griffin Hoerchner and junior defender Anthony Masello were third-team All-North Region selections. All four were also first-team All-Midwest Conference selections.

Prange, a Wauwatosa native, earned his second consecutive first-team All-North Region honor. Prange topped the Midwest Conference with a St. Norbert-record 21 goals and added five assists for 47 points while also posting six game-winning goals. Prange is the St. Norbert career leader in goals with 50 and points with 111. He was named MWC Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Block, a Grafton native, picked up his first All-North Region accolade after finishing second on the Green Knights in scoring with eight goals and 10 assists for 26 points.

Hoerchner, a Germantown native, ended the season with two goals and five assists for nine points. This was his first all-region honor.

Masello, a Darien, Ill., native, finished with two goals and one assist for five points on the year to also earn his first all-region mention. St. Norbert outscored its foes 69-8 this season.

St. Norbert finished its season 17-1-1 overall and was unbeaten in the Midwest Conference at 9-0 to win its second consecutive league championship.
