DE PERE - St. Norbert raced out to an 11-0 lead and had little to worry about the rest of the afternoon in posting a solid 84-42 win over Knox College in a Midwest Conference game at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center.

The Green Knights (3-2, 2-0 MWC) benefited from a trio of Joe Ciriacks three-point field goals in the first four minutes of the game. His long-range marksmanship along with a basket by Wade Geenen gave St. Norbert an 11-0 lead just 3:33 into the game.

Knox would cut the deficit to 13-5, but a Connor Curtis basket and another Ciriacks triple pushed St. Norbert ahead 18-5. The Prairie Fire would trail 24-10 with 7:44 left in the half before the Green Knights went on a 12-0 run, which included treys by Drew Yetka, Ethan Riniker and Ciriacks. St. Norbert settled on a 44-15 halftime lead thanks to another Yetka triple late in the half.

St. Norbert scored 18 second-chance points in the second half and 26 for the game. Knox would get no closer than 25 points in the second half.
