St. Norbert Ends Deadlocked With Lake Forest

DE PERE - St. Norbert College finished in a 1-1 overtime tie with Lake Forest College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Cornerstone Community Center.
The Foresters drew even with 48 seconds left in regulation when Aaron O'Neill scored an extra-attacker goal.
Following a scoreless first period, St. Norbert scored early in the second when Brad Pung scored his third goal of the season six seconds after the Green Knights' lone power-play chance of the night expired, scoring at 1:46. Timmy Nicksic and Peter Bates assisted.
Both teams had three shots on goal in overtime.
St. Norbert outshot Lake Forest 30-21, including 12-2 in the second period. T.J. Black made 20 saves for the Green Knights, while George Argiropoulos made 29 stops for the Foresters.
Lake Forest was 0-for-2 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-1.
