St. Norbert Stopped By Hamlline

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Norbert College lost a 6-2 decision to Hamline University in a non-conference game at TRIA Rink.

The Green Knights got a pair of unassisted goals from Lauren Michael, boosting her season total to eight on the season. Michael scored at 4:19 of the second period to tie the game at 1-1. She added her second marker at 18:09 of the third period.

Hamline led 1-0 after one period but scored three times in the second period and twice more in the third. Molly Garin led the Pipers with a pair of goals.

The Pipers, who advanced to the NCAA Division III Frozen Four last season, outshot the Green Knights 49-12. Anais Aurard made 43 saves for St. Norbert, while McKenna Hulsland made 10 stops for Hamline.

Hamline was 0-for-2 on the power play. The Green Knights did not get a power-play opportunity.
