Green Knights, Foresters Skate to Scoreless Stalemate

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College battled to its first scoreless game in 2 1/2 seasons with a 0-0 tie with Lake Forest College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.

It marked the fourth scoreless tie in program history. St. Norbert had scoreless games against Concordia University Wisconsin on Dec. 2, 2016, against Lake Forest on Feb. 27, 2016 and with UW-Superior on Jan. 22, 2011.

St. Norbert goaltender Anais Aurard kept the Foresters off the scoreboard with 40 saves. The Green Knights held Lake Forest empty on five power-play chances, including one in the last 38 seconds of overtime. The Green Knights, who were stopped 18 times Lake Forest netminder Jacque Rogers, were 0-for-3 on the power play. The Green Knights had one power-play chance in each period, including one starting at the 14:09 mark of the third period.
