Weigman Sets 60-Meter Dash School Record at Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - St. Norbert College senior Adam Weigman set the school record in the indoor 60-meter dash while competing at the Indiana University Gladstein Invitational.

Weigman fashioned a blistering 7.05 seconds in a preliminary heat in the 60, eclipsing the old mark of 7.11 seconds set by Colin O'Brien in 2016. Weigman finished a time of 7.23 seconds in the final to place fourth, just ahead of teammate Jon Gregory's fifth-place finish of 7.26 seconds.

Gregory added a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash in 51.39 seconds, while Sam Stelloh was seventh in 52.47 seconds.

At the Rose-Hulman Institute Friday Night Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., Noah Kleiman finished third in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.01 seconds.

St. Norbert also completed at the Ripon College Red Hawk Opener in Ripon. Karter Decker won the Green Knights' lone individual title with a leap of 13.17 meters in the triple jump.

Samuel Fletcher was third in the long jump at 6.39 meters, while Eric Herman was third in the shot put at 12.75 meters.

Lorenz Jordan was third in the 800-meter run in 2:06.63, while Joe Gasick was fourth in 2:07.82. Gasick also finished fourth in the 1-mile run at 4:39.30. Ryan Priebe was fourth in the high jump at 1.90 meters and fourth in the 400-meter dash in 2.45 seconds.
