St. Norbert Drops Second Game of Lake Forest Series

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College fell in the second game of its Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series with Lake Forest College by a 5-1 score at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.

The Foresters took a 1-0 lead after the first period when Sydney Simone scored at 14:56 of the period.

Lake Forest scored three times in the second period on a power-play goal by Maddie Davis at 3:15, an Amy Budde score at 5:55 and an Abigail Tucci goal at 17:32.

Amanda Boisjolie scored a power-play goal for the Foresters at 12:13 of the third period. St. Norbert scored its lone marker at 19:14 of the third period on KJ Wallace's fifth goal of the season, with Lauren Michael getting an assist.

Lake Forest outshot St. Norbert 33-21. Anais Aurard made 28 saves for the Green Knights. Jacque Rogers made nine saves in the first 40 minutes for Lake Forest, while Samantha Stubbs made 11 stops in relief.

St. Norbert was 0-for-6 on the power play, while Lake Forest was 2-for-4.
