St. Norbert Sends Five to NCAA Indoor Championship

DE PERE - St. Norbert College women's track and field will be sending five athletes to the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship this weekend at Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston.

The quartet of senior Sarah Duff, sophomore Morgan McClone, freshman Cora Purdue and junior Maddie Lebrun has qualified for the 4x400-meter relay, while freshman Audrey Makope has advanced in the 60-meter dash.

The 4x400-meter relay is the No. 9 seeding out of 12 entries with a qualifying time of 3:51.14. The preliminary heats will be contested at 7:05 p.m. Friday while the final is set for 4:10 p.m. Saturday.

Makope is the No. 17 seeding out of 20 contestants with a time of 7.77 seconds. The preliminary heats will be run at 2:20 p.m. Friday and the championship final will be contested at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.
