Green Knights Snag Muskies

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College turned in several strong performances en route to posting a decisive 9-0 win over Lakeland University in a non-conference dual match at Four Seasons Tennis Club.

The Green Knights comfortably swept doubles action. Luke Andrekus and Alex Vandenberg won their match at the No. 1 flight with an 8-3 win over Jared Nummerdor and Nick Lange. Matt La Violette and Jordan Crump defeated Nate Nanda and Jacob Larson 8-5 at No. 2, while Michael Stanaszak and Porter Beilfuss turned in an 8-1 win over Bill Behrmann and Aaron Smith at No. 3.

Two St. Norbert singles contestants earned 6-0, 6-0 victories. Andrekus topped Smith at No. 3 and Gehring earned a win over Behrmann at No. 6.

Vandenberg defeated Larson 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4, while Johnny Zanotti clipped Nummerdor 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1. La Violette topped Lang 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2, with Crump beating Nanda 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5.
