Green Knights Post Second-Place Finish at Marian Invitational

FOND DU LAC - St. Norbert College finished second out of 10 teams at the 36-hole Marian University Invitational at Whispering Springs Golf Course.

The Green Knights finished with a 364-349--713 to finish 13 strokes behind Lake Forest College, which scored 353-347--700. UW-Whitewater's Lily Shepard was the medalist with an 89-81--170 to pace the field of 63 golfers.

Kayley Sjoholm led the Green Knights with a second-place finish, scoring 89-83--172. Elizabeth Bobinski tied for fourth place with a 92-82--174. Taylor Obry finished tenth with a 90-90--180.

Amy Holzer finished in a tie for 14th place with a 93-94--187, while Lucca Kenyon tied for 29th place at 102-95--197.

St. Norbert also competed with a "B" team, which finished sixth with a 409-396--805. Bree Borgen and Olivia Cole tied for 21st place, with Borgen shooting 96-96--192 and Cole posting a 98-94--192. Maddy Cole tied for 26th with a 98-97--195.
