Green Knights Place 18th at Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS - St. Norbert College placed 18th out of 28 teams at the University of Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational NCAA Division II/III race at Les Bolstad Cross Country Course.

The Green Knights totaled 487 points to finish 18th. Augustana (S.D.) University won the team title with 42 points, while the University of Sioux Falls' Steven Brown won the 8-kilometer race with a time of 25:03. A total of 309 runners completed the course.

Joe Gasick led St. Norbert, finishing in 78th place overall with a time of 27:35. Matt Holloway was 109th with a time of 28:07, followed by Randy Johnson in 121st place in 28:16.

Evan McVittie was 131st overall in 28:25, while Miles Mulder was 143rd in 28:37. Matthew McKendry finished in 148th place in 28:49, with Ethan Sowl rounding out the top seven in 163rd place in 29:06.
