DE PERE - St. Norbert College had to settle for a 1-1 double-overtime tie against Monmouth College in its Midwest Conference opener at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (5-2-2, 0-0-1 MWC) jumped out to an early lead when Seth Boldt scored on a header with Max Censky assisting just 2:06 into the match. It was Boldt's team-high sixth goal of the season.

That goal would hold up until the waning moments of regulation time, when the Fighting Scots' Alvaro Alvarez scored at the 87:54 mark for the equalizer.

St. Norbert outshot Monmouth 11-4 and had a 6-1 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske made two saves for the Green Knights, while Kieren Marshall made six saves for Monmouth.
