St. Norbert Turned Away by Knox

DE PERE - St. Norbert College fell 2-0 to Knox College in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (4-7, 0-2 MWC) battled the defending league champion Prairie Fire (6-3-2, 1-0-1) to a scoreless match until Knox's Alyx Farris finished a rebound at the 60:51 mark. Farris got an insurance goal at 65:33 when a free kick bounced free in the box and was finished for the goal.

Knox held a 14-5 shots advantage while St. Norbert had a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.

Katy Coseglia made three saves for Knox. Ally Magiera made eights stops for St. Norbert, while Ava Seifert did not see a shot in 18 minutes of relief.
