Winning Streak Moves to Four With Win Over Alverno

DE PERE - St. Norbert College improved its season-high winning streak to four matches with a 3-1 win over Alverno College in a non-conference match at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center. The Green Knights put out the Inferno 25-14, 25-15, 23-25, 25-14.

The Green Knights (12-6) hit .346 for the match, getting 50 kills against 13 assists in 107 attempts. St. Norbert hit .600 (13-1-20) in the first set and .438 (17-3-32) in the fourth set.

St. Norbert had 10 different players record a kill in the match, with Lexie Van Hiel posting a team-high 12 kills with one error in 16 attempts for a .688 hitting percentage. Grace Baumann added 10 kills, while Colleen DeLisle, Emily Terry and Jessica Geurts had five kills apiece. Devon Nardoni had 26 assists, while Emily Rohloff added 17.

Liz Maastricht topped the back row with 12 digs, while Rohloff added 11.

Alverno hit .105 (39-25-133) for the match. Kierra Sherlock had 15 kills for the Inferno.
