St. Norbert Swats Yellowjackets to Open UW-Oshkosh Tournament

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College defeated UW-Superior 3-0 to open the UW-Oshkosh Marty Petersen Invitational at Kolf Sports Center. The Green Knights swept the Yellowjackets behind scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-15 to extend their winning streak to eight matches.

The Green Knights crafted a .273 hitting percentage, getting 46 kills with 16 errors in 110 attempts.

Grace Baumann led the way with 14 kills, while Lexie Van Hiel added nine kills and Jessica Geurts added eight. Emily Rohloff finished with 34 assists.

Van Hiel totaled a team-high three blocks. Liz Maastricht had 15 digs, with Rohloff totaling 13 and Baumann nine.

Superior hit .074 for the match, with 27 kills and 19 errors in 108 swings. Brylee Calligan led the Yellowjackets with 10 kills.
