Green Knights Return to Action at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College played for the first time in nearly two weeks and suffered a 3-1 loss to Lake Forest College in a Midwest Conference match at Farwell Field.

The Green Knights grabbed an early lead when Hanna Lech scored at 16:01 for her first goal of the season. That goal would hold up until the 80th minute, when the Foresters turned the momentum.

Morgan Henrichs scored the equalizer for Lake Forest at 79:17, and Marie Perkkio followed 35 seconds later to push the Foresters ahead. Hiwa Brown scored an insurance marker for Lake Forest on a penalty kick at 88:33.

Lake Forest outshot St. Norbert 15-10 and had a commanding 8-0 edge in corner kicks.

Ava Seifert made five saves for St. Norbert, while Maggie Kerstling made five stops for Lake Forest.
