St. Norbert Captures Lawrence University Invite Title

APPLETON - St. Norbert College turned in a balanced performance to win the team title of the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational at Reid Municipal Golf Course.

The Green Knights registered 57 points to clip UW-Oshkoshâ€™s 73 points. Lawrence Universityâ€™s Joe Kortenhof won the individual title with a time of 25:51 over the 8-kilometers.

Joe Gasick led the St. Norbert charge with a third-place showing in 26:37. Matt Holloway finished ninth in 27:08, with Miles Mulder finishing 11th in 26:17.

Randy Johnson posted a 22nd-place finish in 27:40, followed by Peyton Janto in 27th in 27:46. Matthew McKendry was 29th in 27:47, while Evan McVittie was 34th in 27:54.
