Green Knights Win Twice to Run Winning Streak to 10

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College extended its winning streak to 10 matches with a pair of victories at the UW-Oshkosh Marty Petersen Invitational at Kolf Sports Center. The Green Knights beat Luther College 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-22) and Finlandia University 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 25-6).

The winning streak is the longest for the Green Knights (18-6) since an 11-match string during the 2012 season.

Grace Baumann led St. Norbert against Luther, registering 15 kills and 11 digs. Lexie Van Hiel added nine kills. Emily Rohloff totaled 36 assists for an offense that hit .233 (44-16-120). Baumann and Rohloff were also named to the All-Tournament Team.

Liz Maastricht finished with 17 digs, while Katelyn Handrahan added 10 digs. Jessica Geurts had three blocks and three service aces.

The Green Knights rolled to the win over Finlandia in a match that lasted just 41 minutes. St. Norbert hit .306, with 32 kills against 10 errors in 72 swings.

Devon Nardoni had eight kills, five digs and two blocks, while Brooke Bemowski had seven kills. Rohloff totaled 18 assists and compiled 11 service aces.
