St. Norbert Falls at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College came up on the short end of a 2-0 result in a key Midwest Conference match against Lake Forest College at Farwell Field.

The Green Knights (9-3-2, 2-1-1 MWC) now trail the Foresters (6-6-1, 4-0) by five points in the conference standings with five league matches remaining.

Lake Forest jumped ahead early on a goal by Gaston Aubert at the 8:07 mark. The Foresters held their lead and then added to it with a marker from Lucas Geib at 81:22.

St. Norbert outshot Lake Forest 13-11 and held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks. Ben Holtzen made four saves for St. Norbert, while Jon Roessler had five saves for Lake Forest.
