Green Knights Drop Contest at UW-Platteville

PLATTEVILLE - St. Norbert College couldn't find the back of the net and ultimately lost a 3-0 non-conference match to UW-Platteville at Pioneer Stadium.

The Green Knights (9-4-2) outshot the Pioneers (6-6-2) by a 13-11 margin but fell behind and couldn't get on the scoreboard. The Green Knights also held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Platteville's Jack Gentilli scored at 35:18, while the Pioneers then got insurance goals from Brendan Carr at 54:14 and David Regan at 80:39.

Ben Holtzen played into the 59th minute in goal for St. Norbert, making two saves. Josh Koleske finished up and also made two stops. Nate Miller made five saves for Platteville.
