DE PERE - St. Norbert College won its Homecoming game for the 21st consecutive year with a methodical 66-0 shutout of Beloit College in a Midwest Conference North Division game at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (3-2, 2-0 MWC North) outgained the Buccaneers (1-5, 1-1) 495-57 in total offense and had 27 first downs to the visitors' three. It marked just the second time since 1960 St. Norbert has held an opponent to three first downs or less in a game.

St. Norbert senior wide receiver Samuel Staehling caught seven passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns in the win, giving him 39 receiving touchdowns for his career. That total sets a new St. Norbert record, breaking the old mark set by Mike Whitehouse of 37 from 1986 to 1989.

St. Norbert scored 28 second-quarter points, with Kohl connecting with Staehling for a 14-yard score on its first series of the quarter. Gage McClanahan then found Staehling for an 18-yard touchdown, followed by a 15-yard touchdown run by Kohl. McClanahan then ran in from 11 yards out 48 seconds before halftime for a 42-0 lead.
