Two School Records Set In Rout of St. Mary's

WINONA, Minn. - St. Norbert College had two swimmers set new school records as the Green Knights cruised to a 164-24 win over St. Mary's University. The Green Knights won all 11 contested events.

Killian Riley set a new St. Norbert standard in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:04.60, winning the event by over 10 seconds. Riley also won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:07.56.

Wayne King reset the St. Norbert record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.24, winning that event by just over six seconds. King added a victory in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.54 seconds.

St. Norbert won both relays, with the quartet of Ben Stolberg, King, Matt Trotter and Sam Martin taking the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.51. Stolberg, Trotter, Jeffrey Green and Riley won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:32.17.

Adam Boerner won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:14.04. Peter Martin took the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:52.87, while Green earned a win in the 50-yard freestyle in 23.51 seconds. Trotter won the 100-yard butterfly in 52.51 seconds. Jed Galutira picked up a victory in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.94.
