Green Knights Claim Win Over St. Mary's In Dual

WINONA, Minn. - St. Norbert College picked up its first dual meet victory of the young season with a 130-67 triumph over St. Mary's University. The Green Knights won nine of the 11 events contested.

Natalie Norton, Katelyn Holmstrom and Clare Santas each won a pair of individual events and were both part of one victorious relay to lead the way.

Norton won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:43.87, claiming a victory of just over 15 seconds. She later took first place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:45.35. Norton was also on the victorious 200-yard freestyle relay along with Amelia Wilcox, Santas and Sophie Thompson, which won with a time of 1:49.28.

Holmstrom won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:11.86 and the 200-yard individual medley in 2:21.90. Holmstrom joined Rachel Koch, Miranda Wilson and Kirsten Williams in the 200-yard medley relay, which posted a winning time of 1:59.24.

Santas won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:08.31 and the 100-yard freestyle in 59.11 seconds. Koch took the 50-yard freestyle in 26.94.
