Green Knights Blanked By Blugolds

DE PERE - St. Norbert College suffered a 7-0 shutout loss to No. 7-ranked UW-Eau Claire in the second game of a non-conference series at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Blugolds scored three goals in the first period, getting goals from Emma Peterson, a shorthanded score by Hallie Sheridan and a power-play marker by Morgan Zirbel.

Abby Roester and Hannah Zavoral scored in the second period, while Sheridan and Roeser scored again in the third period.

Eau Claire outshot St. Norbert 33-14. Anais Aurard made seven saves in the first 26:18 for St. Norbert, while Evi Johnson made 19 stops in 33:42 of relief. Kylah Krause made 14 saves for Eau Claire.

The Blugolds were 2-for-5 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-3.
