St. Norbert Nipped by Vikings

APPLETON - St. Norbert College dropped a hard-fought dual against Midwest Conference foe Lawrence University, coming up just short 117-108 at Boldt Natatorium.

The Green Knights won five of the 13 events contested.

St. Norbert won both relays. Rachel Koch, Katelyn Holmstrom, Miranda Wilson and Kirsten Williams took the 200-yard medley relay in 1:59.29. Amelia Wilcox, Clare Santas, Sophia Thompson and Natalie Norton won the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:57.34.

Holmstrom won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:13.81 and was second in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.08 seconds. Thompson won the 100-yard butterfly in 1:06.18, while Koch claimed the 400-yard individual medley in 5:07.65.

Santas took two runner-up spots, finishing the 200-yard freestyle in 2:07.16 and the 100-yard freestyle in 58.39 seconds.

Kristina Biundo was second in the 400-yard individual medley in 5:10.39. Wilson was second in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:06.79, while Norton finished second in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:49.19. Anna Lomnicki was second in 1-meter diving with a score of 125.60. Williams was second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:15.39.
