Holmstrom Highlights Third Day for Green Knights

KENOSHA - St. Norbert College freshman Katelyn Holmstrom picked up a first-place finish and a school record on the third day of the Carthage College Classic at Koenitzer Aquatic Center.
Holmstrom turned in a time of 1:08.96 in the 100-yard breaststroke to claim the event championship. The time broke the previous St. Norbert record of 1:09.24 set by Valerie Thiel in the 2001-02 season.
The Green Knights were ninth in the 400-yard freestyle relay, with Sophia Thompson, Holmstrom, Natalie Norton and Clare Santas finishing with a time of 3:52.08.
Santas finished in 10th place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:06.14.
St. Norbert finished in seventh place out of eight teams with 926.5 points, just behind sixth-place Alma College's 1,056 points. Carthage won the team title with 3,294 points.
